While you are fully enjoying your time, we are pleased to provide you with some updates on what is happening at Vanbelle Law Boutique.
As you may have noticed, just before the summer, we updated our logo and our social media platforms, thanks to the fantastic work of our new in-house digital marketing manager. We strongly believe in the added value of AI technology and open communication. Therefore, in the future, we will share more information and updates with you, including weekly blogs, expert insights, and more exciting content.
Earlier this year, we proudly became a member of XLNC (www.xlnc.org), the leading global network of advisory firms, and in October, we will be speaking during the professional seminars and focus groups at the winter conference in Oslo.
One of our youngest team members, Hugo Decker Jr., who is also an assistant professor at the universities of Hasselt and Maastricht, has published numerous widely-read legal articles this year. He also celebrated the birth of his first book, which will be published next year by the university publisher Acco Leuven.
Since 2015 onwards, our firm has been annually recognized by one or more international rating organizations in the legal and advisory sector. This year, we received the award for Best Law Firm of Belgium in International Tax Law from the UK-based organizations Corporate INTL and Global Law Experts. This annual recognition is a great incentive to continue improving!
Starting in September, our team in Brussels will be further strengthened with several highly motivated new team members, particularly within our International Tax Law and Global Mobility departments. We will introduce them to you soon!
Also, from September, we will resume our monthly sessions of the House of Diplomacy at our Brussels office, in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Brussels Diplomatic Academy: www.brusselsdiplomaticacademy.eu). During the June conference, we had the privilege of speaking to a select audience of diplomats and public service officers about the role of crypto assets in the world of diplomacy.
